Our story

Jerryco Clothing was created by Maddie Maher, a Junior Showjumper turned Event rider, after she bought an unproven 14.2hh Welsh cob gelding called Jerry in 2021.  As a rider, Maddie had always wanted riding wear that felt silky smooth, had functional features with designer details and a respectful price tag. 

So in 2023, Maddie set out to create Jerryco Clothing's first collection of base layers and riding leggings for every rider and every occasion.  In 2024, the company expanded its range to loungewear including hoodies, gilets, a saddlepad and show rug. The design process for Jerryco pieces is extensive and samples are rigorously tested and critiqued before they are launched.  

Jerry did well at a few British Eventing competitions with Maddie before turning his career exclusively to Showjumping in 2023.  He has attracted a huge social media following and competed successfully in 2024 in British Showjumping with junior rider Aimee Paxton.  Jerry was crowned the National Pony Discovery Champion 2024 and was also placed 10th and 7th in the National Newcomer and Foxhunter Championships at the Horse of the Year Show 2024.
